Aram Arslanian/Orphan Train
Aram is a veteran singer, songwriter, and producer whose career spans decades of recording, touring, and collaboration. He began in the Boston music scene in the 1980s, fronting the new wave band Pulse 8 before moving into roots rock with Aram Island. By the 1990s, he had established himself as a full-time artist, leading the band Farm Animals and performing alongside a wide range of acclaimed musicians.
In 2001, Aram launched his solo career with Surprise Truck Entertainment, releasing three critically praised albums before relocating to Vancouver, WA in 2007. There, he founded Kingsley Garden Music Studios, producing and recording hundreds of artists while maintaining a demanding performance schedule of over 150 shows each year.
Today, Aram balances a dynamic mix of projects: fronting his original rock trio Orphan Train, playing lead guitar with the premier Fleetwood Mac tribute Taken By The Sky, and contributing to Vancouver’s Lincoln’s Beard as a guitarist, producer, and songwriter. His versatile “lounge” performances reimagine classics from the 1950s through the 1980s in a refreshed folk-rock style, delivered with guitar and piano.
